IICRC
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), the Certifying Body for the Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Industry, Representing Certified Firms and Technicians World-Wide has approved the Residential Mold Inspection Course, Mold Remediation Course, and Commercial Mold Inspection Course for continuing education credits.
The number of continuing education credits a student can earn from any of the approved courses depends on their IICRC certification type and the course. Specific information by course is listed below.
Residential Mold Inspection Certification Course:
2 cecs in the cleaning/restoration category,
or 2 cecs in the inspection category,
or 2 cecs in the master category,
Commercial Mold Inspection Certification Course:
2 cecs in the cleaning/restoration category,
or 2 cecs in the inspection category,
or 2 cecs in the master category,
Mold Remediation Certification Course:
2 cecs in the cleaning/restoration category,
or 2 cecs in the inspection category,
or 2 cecs in the master category,
When students complete the course, they can submit their certificate directly to IICRC for credit.
